Arrangements

I know many of you are wondering about what our plans for Janie Beth. Due to the holidays and some special people travelling we will be doing her visitation next Saturday, Jan 9, and a Celebration of Life on Sunday, Jan 10. We will know for sure the details on Monday, and I will post them. We want her celebration to be just right, so we want certain people to be there, and I want to be feeling a little more capable physically.

I want to say THANK YOU for your prayers today!!! I have felt God's peace more today than yesterday and I know your prayers have a lot to do with it.

  2. Hello, I just got the link to your blog through Amy's (Colleen's mom) blog Life is Like a Box of Chocolates. I wish I had seen it sooner. I, too, am in AL. I noticed that your tests went through UAB. We saw a geneticist there after we lost Anakin to Thanatophoric Dysplasia. We also chose to take him off the ventilator.

I am so sorry to hear about Janie Beth. I wish you peace. And if you ever need to talk, I'm here.

    Bless you,
    Mary

  3. Michelle,
I just wanted to let you know that all of your family in Baton Rouge is praying for you and your family. Your blog is so beautiful and inspiring and heart-wrenching. I am so, so sorry for the loss of precious Janie Beth, and I can't begin to imagine what you all are going through. Your faith is so great; you know that the prayers are working and God is with you always. I wish we could come to Huntsville for the service- believe me, if we could, we would definitely be there. We will continue to pray for you because I know the journey has just begun. Thank you for sharing it with us, and for sharing Janie Beth with the world.
    Love,
    Your cousin, Eileen
